my name is miguel, and im the founder and ceo of orbit. orbit was inspired by my two boys, and our journey as a family through the early years of their lives (which is still unfolding!)

why I started orbit

I started orbit because I believe that childcare solutions fail to address the needs of today’s families. In our society, parents frequently find themselves working longer hours and struggling to balance their career aspirations with the responsibilities, privilege and joy of being a parent. I wanted to create a place where children receive exceptional care and education, and where parents feel supported and confident in the most important part of their lives.

we aim to make orbit much more than a school. we’re building an ecosystem; a movement where every child can thrive, and every parent can feel a deep sense of partnership in their child’s early development.
